The Economics module brings country economic data to the Stockroom platform. By allowing a comprehensive and configurable set of economic indicators to be imported and analysed within the Stockroom ecosystem, the ability to spot market trends is extended beyond simple stock performance. Integration with the Analytics and Dashboard modules will allow an organisation to data-mine and identify key relationships between a region’s economic performance and the performance of the stocks within it.
Just as with the Fundamentals module, providing data to the Economics module will be fast, flexible and accurate. Data can be imported manually by performing schema based imports of files or automatically through direct submission to the Economics web-service. Additionally, functionality allowing automatic retrieval from several industry standard sources of economic data will be provided with this module to ensure you data is up to date and accurate.
The Economics module is an optional Stockroom module and will be available mid-2012.
